I’m New

WELCOME

We are a fellowship, that is, a community with a shared purpose.
We are a community brought by Jesus because we have tasted God’s love and goodness through Him.
We have found peace in our relationships with God.
The purpose is to get to know Jesus deeper.

FAQ

We have people in all age groups. Most of our families are bilingual (English and Japanese) and have spouses from Japan, but we also have others who have moved to Washington from other states or countries. The mix is interesting and enriching. The first impression for many of our visitors is that Eikou looks and feels like a close family of friends.

The bilingual worship is informal and Spirit-filled. Elements of our worship includes prayer, singing, and a message. On the second and fourth Sundays, we have communion. Communion is open to all those who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Yes, we have several people caring for the young during the service.

We have a lunch fellowship downstairs after the worship service (usually from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM). This is a good time to get to know our church family. In addition, we have small groups throughout the week. We also host special events throughout the year. The “Events” tab highlights the various social and service opportunities at Eikou.

The Sunday worship service begins at 11:30 AM. It is live and online (via Zoom).
